This blog is the frustrated brain baby of seeing the same content geared to professionals posted day in and day out. Nothing new, just word vomit of the current awful state of the job market. Another missed opportunity is actively networking in these environments. Did you apply to a job you'd be the perfect fit for and want to follow up to prove how passionate you are for the position? Too bad you don't already have a connection with the hiring team. This lack of original content and online networking opportunities birthed the idea to create a casual environment to engage with like minded professionals.

Today’s topic: Introductions!
This is the introductory kickoff of Over A Morning Mug and there is nothing more anxiety inducing than launching something new. Are you starting a blog or working on interpersonal skills to meet new people? How do you pop the anxiety bubble? How dare I ask heart-pounding questions while encouraging readers to consume caffeine!?
My name is Justin Kenney and I am a dynamic certified Project Management Professional but the beginning of my professional career was in Retail. This environment helped push me into constant conversation with strangers I did not know about products I wasn’t familiar with. When I didn’t have the answers people were looking for, personality and my ability to adapt kicks in. “I don’t know, but let me find out!” has provided me with more opportunities to engage with my customer while also buying some time to get the answer they were looking for.
